Our Pastor

Rev.James Reamer is the founding Pastor of Renaissance Baptist Church. James is a native of Inglewood, California. He and his wife of over 17 years, Christa, moved to Las Vegas in 1992, and have lived in North Las Vegas since 1994. They are blessed to have a son, James 15, and a daugther, Jasmine 13. The Reamers have truly come to love the desert, but most importantly they have come to care for the people of this community.

Pastor James is passionate about reaching this city: "Our vision is to reach every person with the Gospel regardless of ethnicity. We desire to impact families with the gospel and see true community transformation. We also see the need for quality Christian education. Finally, it's not about one church, it's about expanding the Kingdom of God locally as well as globally. Ultimately, we want what Jesus wants; to see every person, from every background and different parts of the world, come to know the Lord in a real and personal way."
